Q: How do I become a member?
A: Send a note to *Pokedex with the subject "Joining". That's all you have to do! It's as simple as that.

Q: How do I know I'm a member?

A: You would know if your a member when you receive a "Welcome" note from the club.

Q: Why isn't my picture uploaded yet? I sent it in months ago and its still not up. What's going on?

A: Overall we get at least 15+ submissions per few days. And since someone isn't on every single day the amount grows larger. Currently we have a lot of submissions to add to the club's gallery. And we post them via chronological order, meaning the submission that was sent first gets posted first. If you believe that we missed your submission, don't just send in another copy because sometimes we double/triple post by accident. Think about what might have happened... aka did you title your note correctly? Did you send us the right link? etc.

Q: Where can I find the Background aka. the Card?

A: If you read the rules there are links there to the card in both .jpeg and photoshop form. But here it is again:

Q: Sooo... do we need to have the exact font?

A: No you don't, pick out a font that you believe is suitable for the card.

Q: Does the picture need to be directly in the center of the background?

A: No it doesn't, it can be off to the side or simply sliding off the card. (Just as long as it is a tasteful picture it doesn't matter)

Q: Does the pictures need to be draw in anime style?

A: No, draw in your own style.

Q: Do we have to use the background provided?

A: Yes you do, if you can't get the background, draw it.

Q: Is there a actual pokemon list that I can look at?

A: Yes, there is:
Serebii Pokedex
Psypokes Pokedex

Or you can go to Wikipidia and type in "National Pokedex" to see them all.

Q: Is there a limit as to how many pokemon we can draw?

A: No there isn't. You can draw as many as you want and please.

Q: Is there a set deadline for submissions or drawing?

A: No deadlines, lovely eh?

Q: So what list are we actually using?

A: We are using the National Pokemon List.

Q: Do you take made up pokemon?

A: No, we don't.

Q: Why do we have to write "submission", "join", "question", etc in the note subject?

A: It makes it easier for us at Pokedex to sort them out into the folders they belong to so we can check them out later.

Q: What happens if we do NOT put the correct headline on the note?

A: Simple, they get deleted without being looked at.

Q: What's with the shapes on the card?

A: If you don't know what its used for then leave it as is.

Q: Are there certain mediums that I have to use for this project?

A: Any medium is fine (i.e. digital and traditional), and whether or not its in color or in black and white is up to the artist.

Q: Does it have to be in .jpeg form?

A: Not any more. Most of the admins' comps can take other formats now.

Q: My club wants to be affiliates with *Pokedex, how do we make this so?

A: Send a note to *Pokedex with the title "affiliates". Someone will respond as quickly as they can.
